Synopsis

Kim Yong-ja for 40 years and Kim Jin-suk for 31 years dream a same dream everyday. Kim Jin-suk had hoped for being a writer from her childhood, but she became the best writer for a condolatory address. She has a desperate hope ahead of the three years before retirement. Kim Yong-ja had dreamed of being a nurse saving people, but attempted suicide by collecting 30 pep pills distributed by the factory. Living a struggling life with 5 previous convictions and listed on the blacklist, she has lived till now for a dream of just one victory. Both of them got canned when they were 22 & 26 years old, and now they become in her 50's and 60's. It becomes 71 years that two of them have dreamed of same dream all together.

  • LEE Hye-ran

     Lee Hye-ran began her film career in 1996, and has discovered film aesthetics focusing on female labor. Her major documentaries include <Parallel>(2000) and We Are Not Defeated(2006). <We Are Not Defeated> earned 'Best Documentary Prize' at Women in Film Korea Awards. Also, she produced <Lesbian Censorship in School>(2005), <Out: Smashing Homophobia Project>(2007), and <Troublers>(2015).
