DMZ Docs Industry 2026 Guidelines Production Pitch Submission

DMZ Docs Pitch

DMZ Docs Industry serves as a premier platform where documentary professionals discover new opportunities and foster meaningful connections. We are dedicated to identifying documentary projects and introducing them to the global industry, ensuring they successfully progress from development to completion and international distribution.

'Production Pitch' offers a vital opportunity for Korean and Asian documentary filmmakers to receive expert feedback for projects, identify industry demands, and secure essential funding. In addition to cash prizes awarded to outstanding projects selected through the pitching evaluation, we facilitate comprehensive business matching sessions. These sessions allow all participating filmmakers to engage in one-on-one consultations with key industry delegates including broadcasters, festival programmers, sales agents, and distributors.

Furthermore, additional awards include:
Funding support provided by the Newstapa X DMZ Docs Asia Fund.
Opportunities for projects to be officially invited to international partner events in 2027, such as Docedge Kolkata (India), Green Stories (India), and the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC).

DMZ Docs Industry will continue to be committed to supporting Korean and Asian documentary filmmakers who continue their creative pursuits despite challenging circumstances. We will strive to serve as Asia¡¯s leading venue for showcasing documentary projects. We sincerely appreciate your continued interest and support.

* The ¡®2026 DMZ Docs Industry¡¯ will be held from September 11 to 14, 2026
