DMZ Docs Industry
DMZ Docs Industry was founded in 2019 to develop, support, and promote outstanding documentary projects in Korea and Asia. In 2024, the initiative is streamlining its support structure by consolidating its previously distinct production support programs, funds and pitches into a unified program that will provide all selected projects with presentation opportunities and production funding. Within this framework, the DMZ Docs Pitch program is specifically tailored towards projects in the production and post-production editing stages, whereas the Korean POV 2024 program is geared towards projects that are currently in the planning and development stages. In addition to these core programs, the festival will also feature a dedicated documentary market, designed to facilitate networking and foster dynamic exchanges between global documentary industry professionals and filmmakers. Beyond offering these programs, DMZ Docs Industry remains committed to its ongoing efforts to expand and strengthen the foundations of the documentary industry.
