Synopsis

성매매특별법이 시행된 이후 전국의 성매매 집결지는 하나 둘씩 사라져가고 있고, 영등포 역시 신세계백화점과 타임스퀘어가 들어선 이후 도시정화란 명목 하에 폐쇄 위기에 처했다. 이에 성매매 여성들은 ‘생존권 보장’과 노동자의 권리를 주장하기 시작한다. 오직 밤에만 모습을 드러내던 이들이 대낮에 흰 소복을 입고 "이곳에서 죽음을 맞이하겠다"며 거리로 나서게 된 이유는 무엇일까?

    In 2004, he made his first directorial debut with the film, Me and Doll Playing, followed by several documentaries and experimental video works. He completed his feature length film, Faceless things (2005) in 2005, A Cheonggyecheon Dog (2007). His third feature film, Stateless Things, was invited to Venice Film Festival. And Futureless Things released in theaters on June, 2014. His films have shown in various prestigious national and international film festivals and won several prizes and accolades.
