Synopsis
밤섬해적단은 ‘밤섬으로부터 정치와 자본의 중심인 여의도를 습격하자’는 뜻을 가진 그라인드 코어 밴드이다. 보컬이자 베이스인 장성건과 가사과 드럼을 맡고 있는 권용만, 2인조로 이루어진 밤섬해적단은 ‘김구짱! 이승만 병신!‘ ‘김정일 만세'와 같은 파격적인 가사, 거침없는 입담으로 일찍부터 홍대 인디씬에서 가장 문제적인 밴드로 주목받았다. 하지만 2011년 밤섬해적단의 앨범 프로듀서인 박정근이 북한의 트위터 ‘우리민족끼리'를 리트윗했다는 이유로 국가보안법 기소 및 구속되면서 밤섬해적단은 자신들의 메탈 인생 중 가장 큰 위기를 맞이하게 되는데...

Studied plastic arts at the Korea National University of Arts and went on to major in documentary lm making at its Graduate School. Now working as a lmmaker as well as an artist, he has persistently posed some serious questions about the public nature of the nation and society, through the means of art and documentary lmmaking. His works have been screened and exhibited at numerous lm festivals and art exhibitions both in and out of Korea, including the 29th Vancouver International Film Festival, the Busan International Film Festival, and the Gwangju Biennale.
