Minu is a migrant worker from Nepal, who lived in Korea for 18 years as an illegal immigrant. Fluent in Korean and excellent at singing, he formed the migrant worker band Stop Crackdown and performed as the lead vocalist. Not only was he a social activist for the human rights movement of migrant workers, but he had also participated in social movements with Korean civic groups. In 2009, he was deported back to Nepal following a targeted crackdown.Upon returning to Nepal, he grew as a social entrepreneur but could not forget about Korea.
One day, he gets an opportunity to visit Korea as a representative of Nepal for the Seoul International Handmade Fair to promote Nepalese handicrafts. Worried about his past deportation record, Minu fears that he would be blacklisted and denied a visa.
Luckily, he is granted a visa, so he flies to Korea for the first time in 8 years.
Upon arriving at Incheon Airport, however, Minu is denied entry and has to fly back to Nepal.
Failing to return even after 8 years, Minu is in agony over this setback. His fellow Stop Crackdown members decide to prepare a concert for him.
