Newstapa Fund

The Newstapa Collaboration Center Foundation (CEO: KIM Joong-Bae) supports independent documentary filmmakers and independent producers and has been partnering with DMZ Docs to discover new projects. We are looking forward to hearing from independent documentary filmmakers and producers who want to create a better future through documentary films.

Introduction to Newstapa Fund

The Newstapa Collaboration Center Foundation established Newstapa Fund in 2020 to develop and introduce independent documentary filmmakers who break away the fence of major media and contents made with unique perspectives of independent filmmakers. The selected work will be awarded with 10 million KRW as production fund under the condition that the finished work will be broadcasted in the Newstapa program ¡°Witnesses.¡± The filmmakers can use the standard editorial room and studio in the Newstapa Collaboration Center in Chungmuro, Seoul.
