In March 2021, CHOI Jinbae received photos and videos from Myanmar. He had volunteered in Myanmar 4 years ago, and made a living as a translator after coming back to Korea. It had been a long time since he saw Myanmar in the news. The images he received showed a burned motorcycle, and a miserable village in which blood stained a staircase. The people of Myanmar asked CHOI Jinbae to bring the news of these things happening in their land to the world. 

Myanmar citizen Nyein Thazin heard the news that a military coup broke out in Myanmar while she was studying and working in Korea. She was worried about her family living in Mandalay. She heard about the military brutality committed in her homeland in real time from her father via phone calls.  

CHOI Jinbae and Nyein Thazin each started the democratic struggle in their own way to help Myanmar.
